Cardiff City recorded a 2-0 victory over Birmingham City in their Championship match on Saturday.
The first goal came in the 25th minute when Marlon Pack picked out Kieffer Moore with a precise cross, and Moore headed the ball into the back of the net to give Cardiff the lead.
Birmingham tried to mount a comeback, but Cardiff’s defence held strong, with goalkeeper Dillon Phillips making several crucial saves to keep the Blues at bay.
Cardiff then secured the win in the 86th minute when Mark Harris latched onto a long ball and fired a low shot into the bottom corner of the net.
With this win, Cardiff City move up to eighth place in the Championship table, just four points behind the playoff positions. Birmingham City, on the other hand, remain in 21st place, just one point above the relegation zone.
Cardiff will face Luton Town in their next league match on 20 February, while Birmingham City will take on QPR on the same day.
